The Bachelor star has revealed the new suit he wears for the Presidential Suite at the White House, revealing he wore it for two days straight during the White Houses first two days.
“I’m the only person in the country with a suit that I never use,” he said.
“It’s so warm and cozy, you can’t wear a shirt without it on, but you don’t need one.
The only way you can wear a suit in the White HOUSE is to have one with a hood.
That’s the only way I can go, but I don’t have one.”
The 36-year-old added that he wears the suit for two weeks a month, so it is a bit of a ritual for him.
“For the last two days, I’ve been using it for the last week and a half, and it’s been really warm and I’m wearing a hood, but it’s still very comfy,” he explained.
“And when I get into the White Senate Suite, I’m like, ‘I can’t tell you how much I love this suit.
I’m so excited to go in.'”
The new suit is a nod to the presidents first trip to the Whitehouse, when President Barack Obama, his wife Michelle, their daughters Malia and Sasha, and their son Malia Jr. were there for the event.
“When we came back, it was the hottest day in the history of the WhiteHouse,” he told The Hollywood Reporter.
“The temperature was 110 degrees.
It was unbelievable.
The snow and ice was everywhere.
The water and the sun, it’s just insane.”
He added that it was “an honor” to be in the Oval Office with Obama and his wife, Michelle, “but I love it more than anything.”
“We had this incredible view of the Oval,” he added.
“We had the most beautiful view in the world.
It’s like a picture taken by God.
It wasn’t the most photogenic thing, but at least I had the privilege to be here.”
