Barca are looking to bolster their squad ahead of the transfer window, with several of their stars likely to depart the club in the coming weeks.
Goalkeeper: Sergio Romero – PSG He has been in good form for the Catalan giants this season, and will be a major target for any team looking to strengthen their squad.
With Barca’s star player, Sergio Romero, having a knee injury, his move to Paris Saint-Germain is a definite possibility.
However, the 24-year-old is likely to stay at Barcelona and could be one of the players the French giants are interested in, as his agent told Goal.
“The club is very interested in Sergio,” said Jorge Mendes, a Madrid-based agent.
“Barcelona will pay €40 million to sign him.”
Defender: Lionel Messi – Barcelona The Argentina captain is likely on the radar of many clubs in Europe, as he is set to be a big player in the next few seasons.
With Neymar set to leave, Messi is a big target for a number of clubs, including Manchester City.
“If Messi leaves, he will be the best player in Europe,” said Mendes.
“He is one of only three players who will score more goals than Lionel Messi in a season.”
Centre-back: Sergio Busquets – Barcelona Barcelona are keen to bolster in the defensive area, with Busquet reportedly a target for Barcelona.
The 21-year‑old has scored 20 goals this season and has been a key part of Barca and Barcelona’s attacking side this season.
“Sergio Busquett is a player that Barcelona are very interested to sign,” Mendes said.
“I can’t say anything about the price because he’s not on the market yet.”
Right-back/midfielder: Karim Benzema – Real Madrid The Real Madrid captain has been linked with a move to the Nou Camp this summer, as the player has struggled for regular football in his homeland this season after a difficult first season with the Spanish giants.
“Karim Benzem has been one of Real Madrid’s most consistent players this season,” said a source close to Benzema.
“Real Madrid will be interested in signing Karim.”
Forward: Neymar – Barcelona Neymar has been instrumental in Barcelona’s success this season but is unlikely to leave the club for a major transfer, according to a source.
“Neymar is not a target of Real,” said the source.
Goalkeeper-midfield: Andres Iniesta – Barcelona He is currently at Barcelona’s training ground and has impressed the club this season despite the team’s struggles this season with injuries.
“Iniesta is a very important player for Barca,” said one source close with the club.
“If Barcelona can get him, he could be the most important player in a very good team.”
Midfielder-defender: Sergio Ramos – Barcelona Ramos is still at Barcelona after a season in which he scored 11 goals in 24 La Liga games, including two in the Champions League group stage.
“His performance in the league is impressive,” said another source close.
“Ramos is a top-quality player.”
“Ramos has been at Barcelona for a long time and his career has been good,” said an unnamed Barcelona player.
“This is a new chapter for him and he will go to a very exciting club.”
“I would like to thank Andres Ramos for all his hard work and dedication to the club,” said Barca President Josep Maria Bartomeu.
“After the great performance of his last season at Barcelona, he is now going to another club where he can play his role and have the best of both worlds.”
Forwards: Lionel Suarez – Barcelona Suarez has been under intense pressure this season from the Barcelona players and fans, with many expecting the striker to leave this summer.
However a number clubs have shown an interest in Suarez, including Real Madrid.
“Lionel Suarez is a target [for Barca],” said Mendez.
“It’s a possibility for Barcalona to sign Suarez.”
In addition to Suarez, Barca could also look to sign striker Edinson Cavani, with the striker also in the running for a move.
“Edinson Cavano is an important player at Barca, but his departure would make things more difficult,” said Calum Chambers, an agent representing the Uruguayan forward.
“We know that the club is not interested in Cavani and he would not be a good addition to the team.”
